Day 25

I did a make-up post and then forgot to do the real post yesterday. Ugh! Well I will try to do another post tonight!
James has a 100 day of school project and he had to make himself at 100 years old and fill out a paper. He came out really cute! Here is his self portrait at 100.

Day 24

Oops I missed my blog yesterday. No excuses, just forgot! So this is a make-up for yesterday...

On Wednesday Jake started a 6 weeks multi sport program. He will play 3 weeks of soccer, 3 weeks of tee-ball and 1 week of track. This is his first sports program so we are excited to see how he will do and if he enjoys it! 

When I first told him about it he said he didn't want to do it. His little friend Wyatt is in the program as well so I think that made it a little easier for him. They did soccer first. He was kinda timid and shy when he got there.  He did what he was suppose to but he was very shy the whole time. In the end they were trying to keep the ball away from the "sharks" and Jake lost his ball. He got so sad and came to sit on my lap. Luckily there was only 5 minutes left in the class. He was done. Hopefully next week he will warm up a little more. 

Day 23

Today marks a sad event. Jake had to go on antibiotics for the first time ever. We almost made it to 4 years old without any!! He hopefully just has an ear infection. They don't really know what is wrong, but hopefully he is better quickly. :(

Day 22

I think in the teeth department I am getting a poor grade as a parent. I haven't been the most responsible parent of taking my kids to the dentist. And for some of you that know me well would probably be shocked. I love going to the dentist. Just last year I got my first cavity and was devastated. James had only been to the dentist once, well twice, only because they split up one visit. And Jake had never been! And you would probably be surprised to hear that since we have a dentist in the family! Well the reason that they haven't been is because the first time I took James he screamed his head off. He was 4 years old and he would not let the Dr even look in his mouth! I had to have him lay his head in my lap so the dr could just "count" his teeth! I have talked to the boys many times about going to have Papa clean their teeth and they freak out. I HAVE NO IDEA WHY! So we had this great idea. My friend Lindsay's kids go to Papa for the dentist so why don't we go the next time they go and watch them and see that it is no big deal! So that is what we did today! We met them at Papa's office and watched Ayden & Zoe get X-rays done and have their teeth cleaned. The boys had a great time. So now I am going to make appointments for them to see Papa and hopefully they will cooperate!
And afterwards we all went to get ice-cream! Good bribe that their is a Baskin- Robbins right next door!

Day 21

Today Jake had Grandpals day at school. They met the Grandpals at school in the church where they sang some songs for them. I guess Jake sang really well and did all the hand motions without picking his nose this time! Yay! Then they went back to Jake's classroom where he is supposed to show them around but he didn't even speak! My Mom took two great photos! Lol.

Day 20

I am happy to say I was out of bed today! No more sickness for me! But it has moved on through our house to Brianna. Last woman standing. :(

We were outside playing today and I haven't noticed until today that it is staying lighter later now. Yay! I love when it is lighter later. It gives us more time to play outside!

The kids were playing... LOL

Ricky was outside with us and the boys took turns walking him up and down the street. It was really the first time either one of them had done that. It was so cute. 

Ricky is such a great dog and so good with the boys.

Looking forward to summer nights! Even though it is only February! 

Day 19

Well I haven't been neglecting my blog. I just haven't been able to post. As I have said, everyone in my household has had the flu and now it was my turn. Friday after dinner I came down with a fever. Saturday I spent most of the day in bed. I felt miserable. Today the same. Although I did enjoy watching a bunch of girlie movies. I did another detox bath today and it really does work. I felt 90% better after doing it. It really is crazy how well it works. The other day when I did it, I wasn't sick yet so I didn't really feel that it worked. But after doing it today I can totally say it made a difference. I definitely cut this cold in half. So I hope tomorrow I am 100% better. And I can say good-bye to all this...
