Pumpkin Patch

About a week ago Craig drove past this pumpkin patch near by our house with James. They have a TON of bounce houses and one that is a fire engine. James kept saying fire bounce fire bounce. I had no idea what he was talking about. He wanted to go outside, crying, whining, and finally Craig said, oh he saw a fire engine bounce house at this pumpkin patch. We couldn't get it out of his head. Finally he got to go to the pumpkin patch and wouldn't even go on the fire bounce!
James being so good so Mommy can get a picture before he goes and plays!

Jake on the other hand wanted nothing to do with it! So no more pictures of Jake. :(

James the ghost!

James going crazy in the big bounce house.

They had a toddler bounce house which I had never seen before and LOVED it! It isn't too bouncy, it is easy to see your child, and it has little things to play with just their size!

James and Daddy went to pet and feed the goats and sheep. James has only been around farm animals once and he was to little to remember so I thought he would be a little timid about going in the pen. I was wrong! He went right in and started petting and hugging the animals!

Jake waiting for James to be done.

Although James was never really done, we had to leave with him throwing a tantrum. Such a nice way to end the night!

Cousins

Sunday we hung out at my Uncle's house. This is my cousin Vince's son Michael. Jake and Michael are three weeks apart! I didn't realize how chubby Jake is until he was next to Michael! I didn't take very many photos and I guess didn't have my camera out when Jade & Ian got there! Bummer!

Our Angel

Saturday night, Jake all ready for the Angel Game!

Homecoming

Brianna went to her first dance last night. It was so cute to see them all dressed up. For the girls it actually wasn't THAT different being dressed up for a dance. In junior high they always had to wear dresses to the dances. Last night they were just a little more dressy. The boys on the other hand had to wear suits. So that was very different for them. They all clean up pretty well! A group of 16 went together to dinner at BJ's Pizza and then to the dance!
Here is Brianna with her partner, (I don't like to say date) Jack.

Nonni had to pin on the boutonniere. Brings back memories!

All the girls

All the boys

These are the kids that all went to elementary school together.

Brianna and her best girl friends, Brooke & Sarah

They had a great time, but hopefully that will be the only dressy dance she goes to this year! :)

Matching Jammies

I never thought I would put my kids in matching clothes. And really I haven't, but I was buying them some new winter jammies, since it has finally gotten cold. And poor Jake has pretty much all hand me downs, I actually love it, but since he is so much smaller than James we don't have any winter jammies that fit Jake. James was already in 12 month clothes by now. So I ended up buying them matching jammies. I thought it would be so cute. And it is! Oh and I did buy them the same Halloween shirt! But that is different! :)

HOMECOMING Shopping!!!

Last weekend Brianna was asked to HOMECOMING!!! Oh my goodness. I can't even believe it. Her first "REAL" dance. Homecoming is NEXT weekend so today we were on the hunt. We spent a long time at the mall but luckily we ended up purchasing the first dress that she saw! Oh my little girl is growing up! Can't wait to see them all dressed up next weekend! :)

Fun Filled Weekend!

Wow what a busy weekend we had! I am exhausted and think I need the whole week to recover. We started our weekend Friday night at the Oktoberfest at the church. We go every year but this was the first year James went on any rides. We went with our friends Lindsay and Jeremiah and their kids. So James was really excited to go on the rides with Ayden! We had a great night and met up with a bunch of friends.
Ayden and James on the spinning apples. I was in there too!

Daddy and James on a ride. This looks like a really wimpy ride but it whips you around really fast.

Jake and Zoe waiting nicely in their strollers.

Saturday morning we got up and went to a car show at the Orange County fair grounds, Cruisin for a Cure. James got to sit in this race car! And then Daddy wanted to try! We didn't last very long there. I think James partied too much the night before. He was such a crank and we ended up leaving because he would not stop crying!

After the car show James fell asleep for 3 hours while I ran around with Brianna to soccer pictures, and a soccer game. Mind you all these things we did were outside in the 90-100 degree weather!!! Agh! Heat heat go away! That night Craig and I got to escape for a bite to eat by ourselves at the Oktoberfest! Thanks Mom! :)

Sunday after church my Mom and I went back to the Oktoberfest with the boys to finish up the tickets we had while Craig and Tom were out golfing. We only were there about an hour thank goodness. I was melting in the heat!
James on the ladybug ride. He loved this one. You really got your monies worth they went around so many times I thought he was going to puke. He had a kinda dazed look when he got off!

We ran into my friend Vic with his kids Logan and Kira, so once again James was so excited to go on the rides with them! They screamed the whole time! And they were the only ones screaming! I think they thought that is what you are supposed to do on rides!

Thank goodness my niece Andi was there to go on some rides with James!

Logan, James, Andi, and Valerie on the big slide!

We had so much fun at the Oktoberfest I can't wait till next year. Maybe there will be more rides he can go on. He wanted to go on all the big kid rides! So much different from his Sister!

Monday was my Mother-in-law's Birthday so we joined her at Disneyland!
First Nonna and James went on the carousel. A warm up for James!

Then they went on Dumbo. He loved it!

Then Nonna took him on the teacups! First time and it was a hit!

Every time we go we try to get James to go on the train that goes around the park. He never wants to go and we don't get it because he LOVES trains. Well he finally went and really liked it! Until we got to the dark part with the dinosaurs, which I didn't even remember, it had been so long since I was on it. He freaked out a bit while we went through that part. Who knows if he will go on that again!

Jake was such a good boy all day. He took his naps right when he was supposed to and just hung out in the stroller most of the time!

Hope you had a fun day Nonna! We did!
