Halloween

This year no one was interested in carving pumpkins! So I had to do it all by myself. :(

I was honored once again to be the Godmother of my good friend Kimmi's baby. Weird thing is, both my Godchildren were born on the same day!! Makes it easy for me to remember!

 Our big pumpkins we got this year from my nephew Sammy. He worked at the pumpkin patch and got us half off on pumpkins. 

They were so big I said we are going to need a saw and Jake went and got his! :) 

 Jake got to be the helper of the day and take home the class pet, Jeffery the Giraffe. He was so excited because for the last two years he has watched James get to bring home the class pet!

 James' first parent project. Oh I mean project...

He did do a lot of it himself, I just had to cut, and putt eh glue on then he put the stuff on the glue. It was his idea to do the cookie and he made it all by himself and it was his idea to do the pocket on the front of the overalls. I cut it and he drew the little pocket! I thought it came out really cute!

 Captain Jake one day totally did this by himself, glad I captured it! LOL

Pumpkin Patch

This year we only went to one pumpkin patch! Usually we LOVE to go to Tanaka Farms but we had such a busy October we didn't get around to it. So we went to the pumpkin patch right down the street and spent a fortune! 

 Favorite thing to do! 

Jake was able to drive himself this year!

 THis was a new activity this year. James was completely amped to go in this. Craig and I were shocked that he even wanted to try it since he is pretty timid about trying new things. 

 He loved it and was giggling the whole time!

 Hopefully they will have it again next year and Jake will be brave enough to try!

Homecoming #2

Since Brianna's boyfriend goes to another school they got to attend two homecomings! Yay for having to find two dresses and shoes and accessories! 

 She has learned to pin on a boutonnière all by herself!

Disneyland for Nonna

We went to Disneyland for Nonna's Birthday. Nonna LOVES Disneyland and James always asks everyone to come with him. He doesn't understand why everyone can't go ALL the time! So he was super excited when Nonna and Auntie Amy came with us. 

On It's a Small World, it broke down right when we were about to get off! We had to wait about 5 minutes for them to get it going again!

 We were all so excited when Jake was tall enough to go on Soaring Over California! We couldn't believe they let him on. He was just barely tall enough. He was a little nervous the whole time but he did just great!

 It was such a fun day we can't wait till they come again with us!

Pumpkin Patch

Our first visit this season to the pumpkin patch!

 The pumpkin patch is getting out of control. This year they had this bubble you get in and try to walk on the water! What's next??

 We were shocked James wanted to try it out! He is very adventurous. Jake wanted to go too but when it was his turn he got a little scared and decided he would rather just watch James.

 The tractors are always a hit!

We didn't get pumpkins that night because they were getting another shipment in. Craig wanted two big pumpkins. My nephew Sammy is working there so he delivered two of the biggest pumpkins they had!

 We are going to need power tools to carve these! Love how Jake went and got his saw! :)
