Both boys were off to new schools this year. Jake starting pre-school and James Kindergarten! And both of them started on the same day! September 4th.

I put Jake in the same outfit as James wore his first day of pre-school! I thought it was cute, is it cute or mean??
Jake has Mrs. Reyes as his teacher. We were so happy she is his teacher because Jake was familiar with her since it was James' teacher last year!

He had to put on a name tag and picked his name out all by himself!
I was a little nervous about Jake starting school. He goes to the nursery at church and calls it church school. Sometimes he goes to church school fine and sometimes he cries when I leave. Throughout the summer he would teeter back and forth about being excited about going to James' old school and then not wanting to go to school. That morning when I said it was time to get ready he told me that he doesn't want to go to school. He did really well though when he got there. Was looking at all the toys and seemed excited. Then he saw the play-doh on the table, sat down, and was happy as could be! Craig, James, and I then said good-bye and we scooted out of there tear free! Yay!
He had a great day at school, he told us he made a new friend named Alex, he said Mrs. Reyes read a book, and they played follow the leader.
James was excited to start at his new school. All ready with his new backpack!
He had one friend, Benji, from pre-school in his class. He was so happy!
He went right in his class sat down and started chatting away with Benji!
His teacher Ms. Gotovac. I was thrilled when we found out she was his teacher because she goes to our church and we hear she is the best Kindergarten teacher!
We waved and blew kisses good-bye!
It was a bittersweet moment for me, all the kids in school! I only had an hour to myself though because Jake was only at school the first day for an hour and a half. So as soon as I got home to finally feed myself some breakfast I had to go pick up Jake! I am trying to get use to James going every day to school, hasn't set in yet! Jake will go Tuesday and Thursdays. Thursday will be a full day for Jake and I will have 3 1/2 hours to myself! What's a Mom to do??

I'm sure you will quickly figure out what to do with your time....and then you will realize it goes by so fast that you really have NO time. Haha!! So funny you put them in the same outfit their first days....Jake looks so much tinier than James was on his first day!!
