39 weeks and Waiting...
Today I am 39 weeks and 1 day. I had my appt. today and she said I am dilated to 2-3 and still 50% effaced. She said she tried to strip my membranes so hopefully that will kick things into gear. I haven't had many symptoms of labor like I did with James, but I know every one is different and it doesn't really mean anything. I was at the same place I am now when I went into labor with James. So??? I feel that this past week I have REALLY gotton bigger so that concerned me, since James was 9lbs. 9oz. She said I am measuring a little over 39 weeks but just a tad and that he really doesn't feel like a 9lb. baby. I guess we will see if they are wrong again! So now we play the waiting game! My next appt. is on my due date, Feb. 19th. Hopefully you will hear from me by then, and that I didn't make it to the appt!!!

Good Luck. I'm crossing my fingers for you. Hopefully things will happen soon. The waiting game is always the hardest... Can't wait to hear the news. Hang in there.

Ah! I just read Lindsay's comment! I just read your blog today and see that he is here! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!! SO EXCITING! I hope all went well with labor and delivery! Guess the "stripping" worked! Wahoo! Can't wait to see pics and here what name you decided on!
